The Ocean..
The sun had risen, and I was all packed to leave for a long trip, with two sweet dogs, Mumford and Biscuit, in tow. The drive was a minimum of nine hours, and in today’s world, one can’t pray enough. As I drove out of our long driveway, I prayed for God’s protection, trusting that He and His angels ride with me, guide me, and protect me. Trusting Him brings me much peace in uncertain times.
After a long day, lots of traffic, and one uncertain event, I arrive, and I can’t think Him enough for His divine protection.
Being near the ocean feels amazing — a place of tranquility that reminds me of God’s sovereignty. You always know when you have reached the ocean as you hear the sound of seagulls flying so peacefully, the smell of salt water in the air, and the sovereignty of God, who rules over all creation.
Psalm 146:6 tells us, “He is the Maker of Heaven and Earth, the Sea, and everything in them — He remains faithful forever.”
God is faithful forever, and I encourage you to hold onto this truth in your own life, trusting that His faithfulness remains unchanging through every season and challenge.
I am grateful that I look to Him for comfort in all things. It is only by His grace—nothing I do on my own. God bring me comfort, filling my heart with His divine love.
When we know without a doubt that He is with us, we find great courage and gratitude for His unwavering love.
Morning has come, and as the sun began to rise, I am comforted once again to know that He is with me. As I stretch and hear the sound of coffee brewing, I find myself once again at one of my favorite places—a place where I can write in the stillness of the Lord.
As I look down to see my two sweet dogs sitting here at my feet while I write this morning, I feel so blessed. They are wonderful gifts from God. The gifts that He brings are always special. However, He is the greatest love of all — the greatest gift of all — The Savior of the entire world.
Thank you, Lord, for your divine protection, love, and the stillness of your voice that speaks, “I am with you.” Thank you for the reminder that you are always with us and that you will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you for bringing me back to the ocean — a place that feels like home — and for your love for each of us. We ask that you fill our hearts with your love and peace as we continue to walk in your will and your will alone. Continue to guide our steps and carry us all the days of our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
Psalm 46:10
“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

John 11:40 — Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

The beach has always been my go-to place in time of need. God speaks through His creation. Take advantage of every channel He provides.
The beach is the place where I , too feel the most peaceful and the power of God. The sound of the waves soothes me like nothing else. My health is so much better there. Thank you for your post. I am praying for God’s will and guidance to be able to get to live near the beach in my last years.
