We were in Aruba for the second week in June. We were on our way to the Airport in our rental and saw a guy walking with bags and a case of water. Aruba was very hot and humid and my husband says "we gotta offer him a ride". So we offer a ride and he gets in and is so grateful, and jokes he got carried away with shopping. We chat as we drive to his villa. We pull up to the front and he yells to the person manning the door to his hotel.." these complete strangers, are the coolest people ever to give me a ride". But as Christians with the ability to help... it's what Jesus would do and expect us to do, and we know that. We all need to follow the example Jesus set for us, it's really simple and easy.. and FEELS AMAZING!
There have been times I saw someone and reached out to provide something they may have needed: food, water etc. Today I heard a message about God - in times of distress, He provides special supernatural strength. It could be the feeling of strength to keep going or sometimes an angel was sent (such as for Elijah and for Jesus when He was in Garden of Gethsemane, so afraid). We could be fulfilling prayers when we reach out.
